How to fill your quiet nights
Every pub has a night that just sits there. Tuesday, usually. You pay the staff and the heating either way, so a few more tables on a quiet night matter more than a few more on a Saturday.
Watch: Fill Your Quiet Nights
Find your quietest night in Reports, add an event or a welcome line, and share your booking link. 68 sec
First, find out which nights are really quiet
Your gut will tell you it is Tuesday. Check it. Open Reports in the left menu (Standard plan and above). Pick 90 days or Year and look at Covers by day of the week and Covers by time of day. The report also shows When you are busiest, so you can see the gaps too.
Pick one quiet night and one quiet time. Do not try to fix the whole week at once.
Give people a reason to book
A table on a quiet night needs a reason. The simplest reasons are a set menu, a theme night, a quiz or live music. In Tablez these are events, and they are on the Pro plan. An event has its own date, times, capacity and price, and it shows up on your booking page.
No Pro plan yet? You can still put the reason in words. Use the Welcome text under Booking page look, for example: "Tuesdays are pie and a pint night. Book a table below."
Make the quiet night easy to book
People book what they can see. Put your booking link on your Facebook page, your Instagram bio and your Google Business Profile, and print the QR code for the bar and the tables. Our share your link guide shows where to find it.
If you are on Pro, gift vouchers bring in money from people who book later, and Reserve with Google puts a Book button on your Maps listing.
Paso a paso
- Check your quiet nights. Open Reports, choose 90 days, and read Covers by day of the week.
- Pick one night to fix. Choose the quietest night that you are open, not the whole week.
- Add an event for it. Go to Events and menus, press Add an event, and fill in the name, date, times, capacity and price a head. Tick Show on the booking page. Pro plan.
- Say it on your booking page. Open Booking page look and write one friendly line in Welcome text.

Preguntas frecuentes
Preguntas frecuentes
Do I need the Pro plan to fill quiet nights?
No. Reports, the Welcome text and your booking link are on lower plans. Events, which are the strongest tool, are on Pro.
Should I cut prices on quiet nights?
That is your call. A fixed price menu or a themed night usually brings people in without teaching them to wait for a discount. Try one and look at your Reports afterwards.
How many quiet nights should I work on?
One at a time. Change one night, give it a month, and see what the Reports say before you move on.
Can I email my regulars about the quiet night?
Your Mailing list collects sign ups from your booking page. Sending emails to it is switched on by request. See the mailing list guide below.
