Closing for a day and setting your last booking
Christmas Day, a private party, a week of decorating. Tell Tablez once and customers cannot book those days. You can also stop people booking a table right as you are locking up.

- Choose Opening hours under Your venue.
- Each day has Service periods, such as Lunch 12:00 to 15:00 and Dinner 17:00 to 21:00. Use Add period for more, and tick Closed on days you do not open.
- Scroll to Special closures and press Add a closure. Pick the date and add a note if you like, such as Christmas Day or Private party.
- Repeat for each date. Press the cross at the end of a row to remove one.
- In Last booking, minutes before the end of a period, type a number. 60 means that if dinner ends at 21:30, the last booking is 20:30.
- Press the save button at the bottom.
A different last booking time on one day
If you close earlier on a Sunday, you do not need the same last booking time as the rest of the week. In Settings, then Hours, find that day and fill in Own last booking time. Leave it blank on the other days and they use the main number.
What customers see
On a closed day, your booking page shows it as closed and offers no times. Bookings that are already made for that day are not cancelled. Check the Calendar and ring or cancel them yourself.
Pausing the whole page
If you need to stop all online bookings quickly, press Pause on the Today page. Customers are asked to ring you. Press Go live to turn it back on.

Are bank holidays closed automatically?
No. Add them as closures if you shut. If you open as normal, do nothing.
Can I have a different last booking time on a Sunday?
Yes. In Settings, then Hours, each day has an Own last booking time box. Put the number of minutes before closing for that day, for example 60 for Sunday. Leave it blank to use the main Last booking, minutes before the end of a period number.
Can I change the hours for just one day?
Closures shut a whole day. For a different pattern every week, change the service periods for that weekday.
Will closing a day cancel bookings already made?
No. They stay on your list, so check the Calendar and deal with them first.
Can I stop bookings for tomorrow only?
Yes. Add tomorrow's date as a closure. You can also set minimum notice under Booking rules.
