Most happy guests never leave a review, because nobody asks. Here's how to ask automatically, without nagging. A short thank you email, with one link, is polite, and it works. First, get your review link. For Google, you'll find a link to share in your Google Business Profile. Tripadvisor, or any web page, works too. Then open Notifications, under Booking page. Find After visit email, and tick Send a thank you email after the visit. Paste your link into Review link, and press Save changes. The email goes out three hours after the booking ends, once per booking, on every plan. On each booking, press Mark arrived when guests sit down, so only people who came get the email. If you never mark arrivals, tick Send even if staff did not mark the booking as arrived. Make a booking for yourself to check the email arrives. Ask for honest reviews, and reply to the ones you get. Start free at tablez.co.uk.
Get your review link
Use the link for the place you want reviews. For Google, you can find a link to share for your Google Business Profile in your Google account. TripAdvisor and others have their own. Any web page works, so you could also use a feedback form.
Switch the email on
Go to Notifications (under Booking page). Find After visit email. Tick Send a thank you email after the visit and paste the link into Review link. Press Save.
Make sure only people who came get it
By default the email goes to people you marked as arrived. On a booking, press Mark arrived when they sit down. If you never do that, tick Send even if staff did not mark the booking as arrived. The downside is that a no-show can get a thank you email.
Texts, too (Standard)
On Standard and above, the Texts page has a Review nudge after the visit option. It only goes to people who turned up and were not tagged as a problem, and it needs your review link from Notifications. Each text uses one credit.
Keep it honest
Ask for honest reviews. Do not pay or reward people for good ones, and do not write your own. Reply to the reviews you get, good and bad, because other guests read the replies.
