How to change your name, password and login security
The Account page is about you, not the venue. It holds your name, your password and the extra lock on your login.

The Account page is about you, not the venue. It holds your name, your password, and an extra lock on your login. Click Account in the left menu. Every login has this page, owner or staff. Edit your name if you need to. To change your password, type a new one, at least eight characters. Leave it blank to keep the old one. Then click Save. Your email is shown, but it cannot be changed here. Two-step login adds a six digit code from an authenticator app, as well as your password. It is recommended, and optional. Click Set up two-step login and follow the steps. Save your backup codes somewhere safe, they are only shown once. Owners also see a Delete your account box at the bottom. It closes your booking page straight away. If you only want to pay less, change plan instead. The Free plan never expires. That is your account page in Tablez. If you forget your password, use the forgot password link on the login page.
Name and password
Your name is what other people on the team see. Leave the password blank to keep it. A new one must be at least 8 characters. If you have been given a temporary password, you will be asked to choose your own before you can carry on.
Two-step login
This adds a 6 digit code from an authenticator app as well as your password. It is recommended, and optional. Switch it on, off, or make new backup codes here. Full steps are in two-step login and Google.
Delete your account
Owners also see a Delete your account box at the bottom. It closes your booking page straight away and logs everyone out. Details are in change plan, cancel or delete. If you only want to pay less, change plan instead: the Free plan never expires.
Step by step
- Click Account in the left menu.
- Edit Your name if you need to.
- To change your password, type the new one into New password. Leave it blank to keep the old one.
- Click Save.
- Under Two-step login, click Set up two-step login and follow the on-screen steps.
- Save your backup codes somewhere safe. They are only shown once.

Can I change my login email here?
No, the email box is read only. Ask support from the Help page.
I forgot my password. What now?
Use the forgot password link on the login page.
What if I lose my phone?
Use one of your backup codes to get in once, then set up two-step login again.
Can staff delete the account?
No. Only the owner sees the delete box.
