How to use the timeline view
Want to see the whole day at a glance? The Timeline puts every table in a row and time across the page, so gaps and clashes jump out.

Want to see the whole day on one grid? Meet the Timeline. Open Timeline from the menu, under Day to day. Every table is a row, and time runs across the page. Each coloured bar is a booking, with the party size and the guest name. Its length is how long they have the table. The numbers along the top are the seats taken each hour. Purple is confirmed, green is seated, and orange is waiting for your answer. Red marks a no show. The blue line is the time right now. Each area has its own heading, with its tables, bookings and covers. Tap any bar to open that booking, and change it or add a note. Use the arrows to look at tomorrow or any other day. Gaps in a row are free tables, perfect for walk ins. That is the Timeline in Tablez. The whole day, one glance.
Reading the grid
Every table is a row, grouped by area. Each bar shows the party size and name, and its length is how long they have the table. The numbers along the top are the seats taken each hour.
The colours
Purple is confirmed, green is seated, orange is waiting for your answer, and red is a no show. The blue line marks the time right now.
Other days and walk ins
Use the arrows to move to any other day. Empty stretches in a row are free tables, perfect for walk ins.
Step by step
- Open it. Choose Timeline in the menu under Day to day.
- Read the bars. Check names, party sizes and how long each table is taken.
- Tap a bar. Open the booking to change it or add a note.
- Change the day. Use the arrows for tomorrow or any other date.

Which plans have the timeline?
It is on the paid plans, from Starter upwards.
Do I need a floor plan?
Tables come from your table setup. Bookings with no table show in a row at the bottom.
Does it update by itself?
Yes, the page refreshes every minute.
