How to switch to dark mode
Working a late shift behind the bar? Dark mode is easier on the eyes in a dim room. It is one tap, and it only changes your own screen.

Working a late shift? Here is how to switch the Tablez dashboard to dark mode. At the bottom of the left hand menu there is a small switch with three choices, Light, Auto and Dark. Tap Dark and the whole dashboard goes easy on your eyes. Bookings, the floor plan and the calendar all follow. Choose Auto and Tablez follows your phone or computer, dark in the evening and light in the day if that is how yours is set. Tap Light any time to go back. Each person picks their own, so it will not change anyone else's screen. That is dark mode in Tablez. Pick the look you like.
Where the switch is
At the bottom of the left hand menu there is a small switch with three choices: Light, Auto and Dark. On a phone, open the menu first.
What each choice does
Dark turns the whole dashboard dark, including bookings, the floor plan and the calendar. Auto follows your phone or computer, so it goes dark when your device does. Light is the normal look.
Just for you
The choice is remembered in the browser you use. Other staff keep their own, and your guests' booking page is not changed.
Step by step
- Open the menu. Tap the menu button on a phone, or look at the left side on a computer.
- Scroll to the bottom. Find the Light, Auto and Dark switch.
- Pick one. Tap Dark, Auto or Light.
