How to cut no shows with Still coming texts
A text on the day asks the guest to confirm. If they reply, you know. If they do not, you can plan for a free table.

Read the transcript
No shows cost you money. A Still coming text, sent on the day, gets you an answer while you can still fill the table. Go to Texts, and find the Still coming check on the day. Tick it, and choose how many hours before the booking the text goes out. Three hours gives you time to react. Press Save. Guests who reply yes are marked as confirmed. On the floor plan, bookings that have not replied are marked, so you know which tables might come free. That is Still coming texts in Tablez. Texts are on the Standard plan and above.
How it works
On the day, Tablez texts the guest asking if they are still coming. A yes marks the booking as confirmed. Bookings that have not replied are marked on the floor plan.
When to send it
Choose from 1 to 6 hours before the booking. Three hours gives you time to fill the table if you need to.
Texts cost
Texts come from your text credits. See text bundles and reducing no shows.
Step by step
- Open Texts. From the menu.
- Tick Still coming. Choose the number of hours before.
- Press Save. It works from the next booking.
