How to use the notifications bell
The bell at the top of every dashboard page tells you what has happened since you last looked, so a new booking or a cancellation never slips by.

Never miss a booking again. Here is the new notifications bell in Tablez. The bell at the top of every dashboard page shows how many new things have happened since you last looked. Tap it and a panel slides out with the latest bookings, changes and cancellations, newest first. Tap any one to open that booking. Use the tabs to see just the new bookings, the updated ones, or the cancelled ones. Switch the sound on and you will hear a short beep when something new arrives, handy if the dashboard is open behind the bar. When you have seen everything, tap Mark all as read and the count clears. That is notifications in Tablez. Keep one eye on the bell.
The bell and count
A red number on the bell shows how many new things have happened. It checks every 30 seconds while the dashboard is open.
The panel
Tap the bell and a panel slides out with the newest first. Tap any item to open that booking. Use the tabs for All, New, Updated or Cancelled.
Sound
Turn the sound on to hear a short beep when something new arrives. Handy if the dashboard is open behind the bar.
Mark all as read
Tap Mark all as read to clear the count. It is remembered in your browser, so each person keeps their own.
Step by step
- Look at the bell. A red number means something new.
- Tap it. The panel slides out.
- Choose a tab. All, New, Updated or Cancelled.
- Clear it. Tap Mark all as read.

Does it replace the staff app alerts?
No. The staff app and push alerts still work. The bell is for when you have the dashboard open.
Will it beep when the page is closed?
No. Sound only plays while the dashboard is open.
