How to set up lunch and dinner, or two sittings
Many venues serve more than once a day. Tablez lets each day have several service periods, and turn times make sure a table is free again for the next sitting.

Do you serve lunch and dinner, or run two sittings in an evening? Tablez handles it with service periods. Go to Settings, then Opening hours. Each day can have more than one period, like Lunch from twelve to three, and Dinner from six to nine thirty. Change any time, or press Add period to add a third, like Sunday afternoon tea. Tick Closed for a day you do not open. Press Save changes. Guests now see the right times for each part of the day. Then check your turn times, so a table booked at twelve is free again for the second sitting. A two seater might need an hour. A big party might need two. That is lunch and dinner in Tablez. Each period can be changed any time.
Service periods
Each day can have as many periods as you need, like Lunch 12:00 to 15:00 and Dinner 18:00 to 21:30. Press Add period for another, such as afternoon tea. Tick Closed for a day you do not open.
Two sittings in an evening
Add two periods with a gap, such as 17:30 to 18:30 and 19:30 to 20:30. Pair that with a turn time that frees the table in time for the second sitting.
Turn times
Turn times decide how long a table is held for each party size. See set your turn times right.
Step by step
- Open Opening hours. Settings, then Opening hours.
- Add or change periods. Press Add period, and set the start and end times.
- Save. Press Save changes.
- Check turn times. Make sure tables are free again for the next period.

Yes. Every day has its own periods.
Can I close just Sundays?
Yes. Tick Closed on that day.
