Want to keep a few tables back for walk ins, so online bookings can never take them? Here is how. Go to Settings, then Floor plan. This is where you build your tables. Click the table you want to keep back. Its details open below the plan. Find the Group box. Choose None, staff only. Online bookings will never be put on this table, but you can still use it on the floor plan for walk ins and phone bookings. Press Save layout, and repeat for any other tables. Your garden, your bar stools, or your best window table can all be kept for people who walk in. That is keeping tables for walk ins in Tablez.
What staff only means
Online bookings are only put on tables that belong to a group. A table set to None, staff only is skipped, so guests can never book it online. You can still use it on the floor plan for walk ins and phone bookings.

Garden tables on a sunny day, bar stools, a couple of window tables, or the table by the door. Repeat for each table you want to keep.
