Train a new team in an hour
The five things a new team member needs: log in, see today, answer a request, mark arrivals and no shows, and add bookings.

Welcome to the team. You only need five things to get going: log in, see today, answer a request, seat a guest and mark a no show. Here they are. Log in with your own email and the temporary password you were given. You will be asked to change it. Then open Today to see the day's bookings. Next, open the staff app. Live check shows on or off, and Waiting for a reply lists new requests. Add it to your phone's home screen, so alerts can reach you. To answer a request, press Accept. If you cannot take it, press Decline and pick a reason. When guests turn up, open the booking and press Mark arrived. If they never come, press No show. Taking a call? Press Add booking and set Taken by to Phone. For a guest at the door, choose Walk in. Not sure whether to say yes? Ask your manager for the house rules. Tablez is at tablez.co.uk.
