Set Your Turn Times Right

Hold tables for the right time by party size, so you neither lose covers nor double book.

Transcript

A turn time is how long Tablez holds a table for a booking. Too long and you lose covers. Too short and you double book. Here's how to get it right. Go to Turn times, under Your venue. It starts with ninety minutes for parties up to two, a hundred and twenty for up to four, and a hundred and fifty for anything bigger. Change the minutes on each Parties up to row. Don't guess. Watch two or three busy services, note when each size of party really leaves, and set it a little over the usual. Need another size? Press Add a rule, and enter the party size and the minutes. Leave up to blank on the last row, so it covers every bigger party. Press Save. Staff can always give a table longer on the night, so you don't need to plan for your slowest guests. Check your busiest nights after a month, and adjust. Turn times are on every plan. Start free at tablez.co.uk.
