Kitchen and bar screens
See each order on the right screen, then move it from new to done.
Transcript
When a customer orders and pays, the order lands on a screen in your kitchen or at your bar. Here is how those screens work. Open orders in your dashboard. At the top are three screens, all orders, kitchen and bar. Each section of your menu is set to the kitchen or the bar, so food goes to one screen and drinks go to the other. Each new order appears as a card, all by itself. It shows the table, or the collection name, how many minutes it has waited, and what was paid. Allergens are in red, and anything for over 18s says Check ID. Press Start Making when you begin. The card changes colour. When it is cooked, press Ready. Press Done once it has gone out. It moves into Done Today at the bottom, so the screen stays tidy. The bar screen only shows drinks, and a note tells you when the rest of an order is on the other screen. Switch sound on and you hear a beep whenever a new order arrives. Press full screen to fill a tablet or a TV in the kitchen. The screen refreshes by itself so nobody has to touch a thing. That is your kitchen and bar sorted. Order and pay is coming soon to Tablez as an add-on to the Pro Plan. Start free at tablez.co.uk
