How to use the kitchen and bar order screens
When a guest orders and pays on their phone, the order pops up on a screen. Kitchen sees the food, bar sees the drinks. You tap through the steps and the guest sees their order move along.

Open the kitchen and bar screens, read each order card and move orders through Start making, Ready and Done. 82 sec
Open your screen
- Press Orders in the menu. If you cannot see it, your venue does not use Order and Pay.
- Choose Kitchen screen for food, Bar screen for drinks, or All orders screen for everything.
- On a tablet, press Full screen. Press Sound off once so it says Sound on. You hear a beep for each new order while the screen is open.
Work through an order
- Each card shows the order reference, whether it is eat in, collection or delivery, the table or customer, how many minutes it has waited, and the items with sizes, choices and notes.
- Read the allergens on the card. Orders with alcohol show a CHECK ID note. Check the guest's ID when you serve them.
- Press Start making when you begin.
- Press Ready when it is finished. For collection and delivery, the guest can be texted if the owner has that on.
- Press Done once it has been served, collected or delivered. It moves to the Done today list at the bottom.
Pressed too soon? The small arrow button steps the order back. If one order has food and drink, each screen shows its own part, with a note that the rest is on the other screen.
Cancelling or refunding
Open the order from Orders and press Cancel order. A paid order needs a reason. Cancelling does not send money back. Only the owner can Refund, so tell them straight away and give them the order reference.
Booking kitchen screen
There is also a different Kitchen screen in the Day to day menu. That one shows table bookings arriving in the next hour or two, with allergies in red. It is on the Pro plan.

Why has no order appeared?
Orders only show once they are paid. An unpaid order waits on the guest's phone and is cancelled after 30 minutes.
Do I need to refresh the screen?
No. It updates itself every few seconds.
Does the guest see what I press?
Yes. Their order status page moves along as you press the buttons.
The sound is not working.
Browsers only play sound once you have pressed the Sound button on that screen. Press it again and check the volume.
