End of day and past orders
At close, you want to know what you took. And when a customer rings about last Thursday, you want to find their order fast. Both are a few clicks.
Find a past order
On the Orders page, use the Day box to pick a date, or type the customer's Order ref, such as A7K3, and press Show. Each row shows the ref, time, who, items, total and status: Awaiting payment, New, Being made, Ready, Done or Cancelled. Press Open to see the full order, including what was paid and how. Customers see the same ref on their phone, so ask them for it.
Run your end of day report
- Press Orders in the left hand menu, then End of day. You need permission for Reports to see it.
- Choose a date and press Show. It starts on today.
- At the top: the number of orders, the total taken, the items total, tips and delivery fees. Below, a table shows takings by how they ordered: Eat in, Collection and Delivery.
- "Items sold" lists each item and size, which screen made it, how many sold and the takings. Handy for ordering stock.
- Press Print for paper, or Download CSV to open in Excel or send to your accountant. The CSV also shows gift voucher payments and refunds, with net takings.
Only paid orders are included. Unpaid and cancelled orders are left out, and tips and delivery fees are shown separately from the items. The bottom of the page lists every paid order, and each ref opens the full order.
Unpaid orders are cancelled by themselves after 30 minutes, so the list stays tidy.
